As always I am amazed by things that people involved on the social networking sites put in their blogs that they believe are of such great importance........This is another thing I love seeing in someone's blog...... "I'm Leaving for awhile......The Drama is just TOO much!" This is code for, "I messed around with someone that I shouldn't have, they're really upset at me, and I need to go dark for awhile." That may not always be the case, but it's been my personal experience that anyone that goes to a lot of trouble to announce their exit from 360, is usually in over their heads. By the way....I'm not talking about telling your friends you'll be absent to take care of family matters, illness, or other real crisis here. That's just polite since many people on here are not connected in the real world, only the virtual one. NO, what I'm talking about is the dramatic swan song exit......... Here's a thought......GO ALREADY! Chances are if you've stirred a lot of crap up, people will be happy you've disappeared. Once gone, please don't come back. This is also a common problem. People keep coming back as someone else. There may be times this makes sense, like after some psycho moron decides to post insults all over your page or your friend's pages. Then you just need a safe place to resurface and connect with them again. This if ridiculous in and of itself, but is only aside to my desire that if you need to leave, and you don't want any more of the DRAMA, then don't make a DRAMATIC exit. Then you ARE part of the drama, you Blog Moron!...... Recently I was blog hopping and found just such a blog. Some girl was telling everyone that she wasn't getting any comments about her blog, and since she was getting no attention, then she had decided to shut her page down UNLESS those of YOU out there would write her and convince her to stay...........I went to the blog comment page and there might have been one comment there, something like, "Don't go girl! Do ME!" I decided that comment alone really didn't help her with her dilemma, sooooo, I decided to give her some more constructive and honest commentary.....I told her that possibly people didn't find her interesting or maybe they would have commented to the 15 previous blogs she had written that were about 2 sentences long and had a cam photo of her in each entry. So, I for one suggested that she indeed leave now and quietly. Sort of a public service kind of gesture. I went back a week or so later. No more comments, but a new entry......"Really....I'm going if you guys don't give me a good reason to!" Believe me, if you want to leave, then do so, slipping into the quiet evening, QUIETLY.... and maybe the world won't tip off its axis.......go ahead, let's give it a try! I am..As Always The Blog AvengerI know what you may be thinking, but no, instead BM stands for Blog Morons......
